Privacy Policy

Overview
Maison Vela is operated by Unmatrix Technologies. This policy describes what personal data we collect when you use the Maison Vela iOS app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information Apple shares with your consent.
Shopping activity
We store your wishlist and shopping bag to sync them across sessions and devices. When you place an order, we collect your delivery address, selected sizes, and order details.
Device and usage data
We collect your device model, iOS version, app version, and crash logs to diagnose technical issues. We do not use this data for advertising.
How We Use Your Data
- To operate your account and authenticate you securely.
- To save and sync your wishlist and shopping bag.
- To process and fulfil your orders, including shipping notifications.
- To diagnose crashes and improve app performance.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the app — for example, payment processors and shipping partners — and only to the extent necessary for those services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).
Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data.
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to certain types of processing.

Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We restrict access to personal data to employees and contractors who need it to operate the service.
Children
Maison Vela is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at indraneel@rimlabs.in and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
